 Larrie watching an air show. These planes have been misidentified as Thunderbirds, etc. They are L-19s renamed O-1 Bird-Dogs. I flew in one for artillery spotting. The pilots get bored so they learn to fly other than level right-side-up. This is considered a defensive advantage. |
